Our content is our work

Everything on this site — every photograph, film, guide, and piece of writing — was made by GeoParallax on location, in person. It is protected by copyright, and all rights are reserved by Arnold Petersen. You are welcome to read, watch, link to, and share links to anything here. You may not republish, reproduce, scrape, or redistribute our photographs, films, or text — in whole or in part, in any medium — without written permission.

Licensing: our photography is available for licensing through the stock platforms listed in the site footer, or directly — write to info@geoparallax.com for image licensing and commercial use.

AI and automated access: our machine-readable site information (llms.txt) states what automated systems may do with our content. Bulk scraping of images or text for training or republication is not permitted.

Accuracy of travel information

Our destination guides state fees, hours, and practical details as verified on the date shown in each guide. Prices and conditions at the places we cover change without notice, and we are not responsible for decisions made on outdated information — check with the venue before you travel. Where a guide states the date its facts were verified, that date is part of the information.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to disrupt the site, probe or overload its forms or payment endpoints, misrepresent yourself in the forms, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may block traffic that abuses the site.

We link to external sites (venues, booking pages, retailers, our stock portfolios). We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Liability

The site is provided in good faith and with care, but “as is”: to the extent South African law allows, we aren’t liable for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act.

Governing law

South African law governs these terms.
