Shipping & Returns

The short version: we post your book promptly and carefully, you have 7 days to change your mind, and a damaged copy is always our problem, not yours. The detail:

Shipping

• We ship to South African addresses via The Courier Guy.
• Orders are dispatched within 2–5 days of payment. Delivery typically takes 3–5 business days after dispatch, with tracking sent to your email where the courier provides it.
• Shipping costs R149 per order, shown on the order page before you pay.
• The book ships in rigid protective packaging — buyers of a large hardcover care.
• We ship to the address in your confirmation email. Spot a mistake in it? Reply to that email before dispatch and we’ll correct it.
• Outside South Africa, or ordering in bulk? Email sales@geoparallax.com for a shipping quote before ordering.

Changed your mind? (7-day cooling-off)

You may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the book, no reason needed — that’s your right under the ECT Act, and we honour it without fuss. Email support@geoparallax.com within 7 days of delivery, send the book back unused and in its original condition, and we refund the full purchase price once it reaches us. Return postage for a change-of-mind return is for your account.

Damaged or defective?

If your book arrives damaged or has a printing or binding defect, email support@geoparallax.com with your order reference and a photo. Within 6 months of delivery you may choose a replacement or a full refund — and the return costs nothing; we arrange and pay for collection. That’s your Consumer Protection Act right, and ours to honour.

Refund timing

Refunds go back via Payfast to the payment method you used, within 7 business days of the return reaching us (or immediately where no return is needed).
